Works on my 7.3 Red Hat system.
Passwords are not decrypted and compared in plain text to the original.
The unix password crypt function uses the hash (first 2 characters of the password I believe) ...

We did this with Pbox and while very cool and an interesting experience, it was at times a pain in the neck.

There really is no substitute for the ability to just open any file in vi and "fix" some ...

Just a thought ....
One memory efficient method could be to use a single flag to mark each donated item as donated at the time of donating.
SET_BIT(obj->extra_flags,OBJEXTRA2_DONATED); // add do ...

Fixed it.
Moved do_tail() in it's entirety to a new file, deleted it from fight.ccp and it works.

What was the problem, no clue but the solution works.

A damned wierd error that to my reckoning, shouldn't exist.
If I change do_tail in interp.ccp to something like do_sting ... this all compiles and works.
Error:
