Greetings,

If you are using VS2008+ with Dawn 1.69s_beta6; I would encourage that you insert these specific preprocessor definitions through the project properties:

_WINSOCK_DEPRECATED_NO_WARNINGS
_CRT_SECURE_NO_WARNINGS
_USE_32BIT_TIME_T

This will the life of compiling much easier!

Hi, Daos I sent this question into the contact section of the website as well, but I was wondering if you might be able to help with compiling .69s in VS 2017.

Cheers!

It took me longer than it should have but I figured this out. I have compiled successfully in vs2017 with my project pointed at Windows SDK version 10.0.16299.0.

There were a number of areas where I needed to add a space after some string content in order for it to recognize the #define. Not sure if you're the correct person to report this to. Smile

Regards,
Miru

Hi Miru -

I have been away dealing with business and didn't get to read your message until today. I am glad that you have it working! =)
