Note that the line numbers might be off (because I added some code that works great! Thanks everyone!!!), but find/replace will work. BTW, 'diff' is a great tool.

Code:

1380c1381
<                       write_to_buffer( d, "You are wanting to create a new character? (Y or N)", 0);
---
>                       write_to_buffer( d, "Do you really want to create a new character? (Y or N)", 0);
//I guess this is a matter of opinion, so whichever you prefer...

1410c1411
<               write_to_buffer(d,"Please type Y or N? ",0);
---
>               write_to_buffer(d,"Please type Y or N ",0);

1892c1893
<           write_to_buffer( d, "Please type Yes or No? ", 0 );
---
>           write_to_buffer( d, "Please type Yes or No ", 0 );

1958c1959
<           write_to_buffer( d, "Please type Yes or No? ", 0 );
---
>           write_to_buffer( d, "Please type Yes or No ", 0 );

2135c2136
<               write_to_buffer(d,"Please type Y or N? ",0);
---
>               write_to_buffer(d,"Please type Y or N ",0);

2576c2742
<               write_to_buffer( d, "Please answer (Y/N)? ", 0 );
---
>               write_to_buffer( d, "Please answer (Y/N) ", 0 );

2394c2408
<               write_to_buffer(d,"Please type Y or N? ",0);
---
>               write_to_buffer(d,"Please type Y or N ",0);

Sorry if I contributed to delaying r by posting this.. Very Happy

Code:

   roll_stats(d);
   add_connection(d);
   write_to_buffer(d,"If this is your first character here we recommending\r\n",0); //line 117
   write_to_buffer(d,"accepting these stats till you know what they all mean.\r\n",0);
   write_to_buffer(d,"(read the newbie doc on the web page for a light explaination)\r\n",0);
   d->connected = CON_REROLL_STATS;

recommending to recommend

Code:

      write_to_buffer(d,
"You must now choose your alignment, alignment is very important as it \r\n"
"effects how you are expected to roleplay your character, and acting in a \r\n" //line 132
"manner out-of-alignment can invite penalties from the gods and nobles of\r\n"
"the realm.  Only pick an extreme alignment if you can and will live up\r\n"
"to it, otherwise you might do yourself great harm.\r\n\r\n",0);

effects to affects
Code:

            wordwrapf_to_char(CH(d),
      "  The email address 9 times of out 10 will have to be a valid email accout "

accout to account.. although i don't think many people use this...
