Hrrmm appears I am the only one to use this Forum anymore, might as well post soe more problems.

I am getting the following errors and I think I know what it means, it doesnt like the pointer used, but for the life of me I can getting to aggervated to think logically on it any more.

Here is the errors, or a few atleast:

spawn.cpp:620 base operand of '->' is not a pointer
there is prolly a dozen or so errors of that nature.
Basically I need to figure out what to replace '->' with,
Case M, ends with Lines 618,619,620 all three showing the
same errors.

TIA

Corresponding Code is:
Code:

   case 'm': case 'M':
      if ( (pMob = get_mob_index( s->source )) == 0 )
         fprintf(fp,"[%5d] <broken>\n", s->source );
      else
         fprintf(fp,"#%5d %c%3d [%5d] %-32s (Int %d Freq %d PH %d DS %d)\n",
            s->index, IS_SET(s->flags,SPAWN_READY) ? 'R' : 'P',
            s->timer, pMob->vnum, pMob->short_descr, s->interval, s->frequency,
            s->placeholder, s->despawn );
      break;
   case 'o': case 'O':
   case 'e': case 'E':
   case 'i': case 'I':
   case 'p': case 'P':

The syntax...

Code:

x->y

...can only be used when x is a pointer. When x is not a pointer, use:

Code:

x.y

Edit: Removed idiocy from post.
