Weeee! After an entire afternoon and evening of hard work, I finalized my super setup of coding/compiling/testing tools. It is as follows:
System: Linux Fedora Core 5 (VMware)
For code editing AND compiling: CodeBlocks (on Linux).
For MUD connection: MUSHclient 4.15 via Wine.
I simply installed the C++ development packages that Linux brought up for me, installed CodeBlocks, then Wine, then MUSHclient. I ran CodeBlocks, added all of the Dawn 1.69s Beta 4 source files to a project, then went Build and Run. It compiled it all without a single error or warning and ran without a problem!
So... To sum it all up, I have everything I need for coding, compiling, and testing, all in one environment. I can simply edit the code, then compile, without having to run that silly terminal. I am elated!

2. Walk outside and see if anything has changed over the past 2 years.
3. Threaten your ISP.
4. Re-introduce yourself to your family.
