ok so this item type is currently completely useless as far as I can tell.. unless i'm missing something. So I'd like to make the sheath and draw commands work with the sheathe item type instead of a wear location on the eq list.. but not real sure how. Could someone at least point me to the right areas in the code (besides do_sheath and do_draw themselves) that might be able to help me?

Having not looked at item flags and the state things can be in (haven't gotten that far myself), perhaps you can make the sheath a container like flasks or potion vials. Then you can put a single weapon in it. I dunno? Is this helpful?

that's what i'm currently attempting, only without the single item part, IF i can get this working the sheathes will be able to be set to hold multiple weapons, but only weapons and the max amount set per sheathe (such as one that can carry up to 6 weapons, one that carries two, etc), it's quite a thorn in the arse.

Are there Quivers in DOT? How do they work? Might be an object of interest if they actually are in DOT and hold arrows.

stock coding has ziltch on archery, no bows arrows or quivers, but i was able to work up an archery system. At first i had it set up to use arrows and quivers than after talking with my staff we came to the decision to make them unlimitted ammo so got rid of the quivers and arrows lol
