Trying to import area's buildt on a modified ROM code base with OLC.

I ripping out some things like room/obj progs first, then when i try and port in mobs/rooms/obj i keep getting errors in the mobs.

Code:
Example:

::  Reading in area area/bearmoun.are
:: Mob with Vnum 2401 has an unrecognised race 'an owl', dynamically generating a race.
:: [*****] FILE: area/bearmoun.are LINE: 28
:: [*****] BUG: fread_number(): bad format.
:: [*****] FILE: area/bearmoun.are LINE: 28
:: [*****] BUG:
====Non numeric character is '#' (35)
====Following on line ='0'
====Next line ='#OBJECTS'

Another example:

:: Mob with Vnum 2401 has an unrecognised race 'an owl', dynamically generating a race.
:: [*****] FILE: area/bearmoun.are LINE: 24
:: [*****] BUG: fread_number(): bad format.
:: [*****] FILE: area/bearmoun.are LINE: 24
:: [*****] BUG:
====Non numeric character is 'w' (119)
====Following on line ='atches your every move'
====Next line ='As you look so are you looked at'

Then if i rip all the mobs out and leave obj/rooms mob orgs in the area goes trough without to much hazzle..

Is there a workaround on this one?

I even tried to pull all values out and leaving only descriptions on the mobs but thats when i got that last example error..

Anyone got any ideas? Smile

Shaz
